Fawn asked:
I have like a heart burn type deal like everyday, and my stomach is always a little unsettled. I assume that it’s acid reflux, since I have been diagnosed with it before. However, I don’t have insurance right now and won’t for a little while. So, any home remedies besides taking tums?

Don’t eat chocolate, tomato sauce, or anything spicey.
Don’t eat right before you go to sleep.
Don’t wear tight clothes.
Good luck.

Restricting the food you eat does not cure anything; it only helps avoid symptoms. And, worse is that medications also do not cure acid reflux. They suppress symptoms as long as you continue take them but whenever you stop taking them symptoms return, usually at a stronger degree. Therefore I recommend a home remedy which worked great for me and for a couple of my relatives. It cures within days. Permanent relief!
This home remedy is outlined in a small book which you will need to buy. But I believe it is worth it. You can find it at

i have acid reflux. . . and restrictin food’s doesn’t really help
i have had it my whole life
eat regularly. . . going a long tym without eating causes a build up of acid in the stomach
when you feel it coming on eat food that are plain e.g. bread, rice in otherwords high in carbs
greasy food’s wont help it
use rennie tablets when you feel it comng on
there is no cure for it. . .sorry
EDIT- milk, any milky substances help because they are basic i.e. not acidic they reduce the acid
